The BBC One programme debuted on Thursday night and sees 16 professional dog groomers put their expertise to the check every week, beneath the watchful eye of execs Colin Taylor, Verity Hardcastle, and vet Bolu Eso.
Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps actress Sheridan hosts the present – and is joined by her personal lovable pooch Stanley (who’s considered one of six).
The final word winner of Pooch Excellent receives the grand prize of the Golden Stanley, a statue of his highness.
