They are now self-isolating, as are around 24 others who have been identified as close contacts and ordered to work from home.
Amazon bosses say they are “supporting” all of the workers now in quarantine.
It is is understood the cases developed in a small office on the plant, which is shared by more than 30 contractors.
The tech giant insist safety screens are in place in the office, and staff must wear face coverings.
But, The Scotsman reports that, despite Amazon’s safety measures, concerns had been raised about the small size of the room and the regular use of air conditioning.
It is believed two contractors tested positive early last week, with a further four workers catching the bug over the weekend.
A spokesperson for Amazon said: “We are supporting the individuals who are now in quarantine.
“Since the early days of this situation, we have worked closely with local authorities to proactively respond, ensuring we continue to serve customers while taking care of our associates.
“We are following all guidelines from local officials about the operations of our buildings.
“We have implemented proactive measures at our facilities to protect associates including increased cleaning at all facilities, maintaining social distance in our sites, and adding distance between drivers and customers when making deliveries.”
It comes as a worker from a Glasgow Tesco store died from coronavirus.
An outbreak of the bug was reported at the Tesco Extra superstore on Maryhill Road earlier this month.
Bosses at the supermarket chain have confirmed a male staff member who tested positive for Covid-19 has tragically passed away.
